WOMAN AVIATOR INJURED By Cable. — Press Association. — Copyright Reed. 10 a.m. LONDON, Friday. Lady Bailey, wife of Sir Abe Bailey, the South African millionaire, had a narrow escape from death. She is one of the few society women possessing an air pilot’s certificate and while preparing for a flight she stepped too close to a machine which was being tuned-up. She was struck on the head by the propeller, and had she been a few inches closer decapitation was ineviI table. —A. and N.Z.
