INDUSTRIAL DELEGATION
SPEECHES FROM NEW YORK BROADCASTED LAST NIGHT Press Association GISBORNE, To-day. The speeches of the members of the Australian Industrial Delegation were broadcast last evening from New York and were listened to by a local radio expert. The addresses were by representatives of employers and labour Mr. Adam, associate-editor of the Sydney ‘‘Morning Herald,” and Mr. Boyle, cliief-of-staff of the Melbourne “Argus.” The delegates all spoke of the wonderful time they were having and of the great courtesy and, kindness received from the Americans. The Queensland representative of Labour said he was impressed by the way intensive production had increased the prospects of the country and workers in particular. He urged all Australians to work their best to make their country greater.
