LOANS OF £600,000
CITY OF WELLINGTON (From Our Resident Correspondent .) WELLINGTON, To-day. The Local Body Loans Board will be asked to sanction the raising by the Wellington City Council of loans totalling £606,318, including a special street works loan of £110,450: waterworks and drainage, £131,388: paving, footpaths and streets (includes 5 per cent, supervision), £219,980; conveniences, £21,500; libraries, £70,000; reserves, £53,000. To this will be added 25 per cent, to cover supervision contingencies, the first year’s interest and flotation costs.
