SCULLING
THE WORLD TITLE MATCH NEGOTIATIONS By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Wednesday. The sculler Barry says Major Goodsell has sent a cable accepting his challenge, but Barry says the date suggested, June, is much too early. He suggests the end of July or the beginning of August. Barry says Hannan’s proposed visit to America has complicated matters. He is willing to participate In a sweepstake, or to meet Hannan to decide who is to row the champion. Barry says his ambition is to scull on the Parramatta, but he would not mind going to California if he were assured of a race for the title. —Sun.
