TARANAKI DISTRICT CONTEST Prcs3 Association STRATFORD. Thursday. The Taranaki district lire brigade demonstration was held at Stratford to-day. Following were the results of the principal events: Two-men, Modern, wet hose.— A, 1: Hawera B. 1*: Pa tea, 3. Two-men Coupling.—Hawera a i Hawera B, 2; Eltham, 3. ’ Three-men Event, wet hose.—Manaia 1; Stratford, 2; Hawera, 3. Three-men Event, wet hose, with union.—Stratford, 1; Hawera A «>.
