“GOOD ON YOU, BOY”
Democratic salutations were an amusing feature of the receptions given to the Duke and Duchess of York in the Sydney Town Hall. The Royal visitors appreciated the Australian humour which caused the Duke to be hailed as “Good Old Alby,” “Good on you. Boy.” “There's no doubt about you, Bert.” Hundreds of people attempted to shake hands with the Duke and Duchess, but this was forbidden by the authorities.
