INDUSTRIAL FAIR
A SUCCESSFUL CAMPAIGN THE “WHITE TRAIN” SCHEME The Industrial Fair conducted by the Now Zealand Preference League in the Ci\ic Square concludes this evening. The fair has been highly successful and will be the forerunner of many similar schemes. The “great white train.’' soon to be run through the dominion, is the most comprehensive publicity scheme the league has in vio-,v. The train, which will consist of either a cordon of motor trucks or a railway train, will be painted white. An expert advance agent will precede tt and make all necessary arrangements The scheme has been conducted with marked success in Australia and should be equally successful m New Ze tland. It is also intended to get factories to adopt a seal signifying that the goods were made in New Zealand. These seals will be worth certain number of points according in f P r * ce uf the article, and children jyill be encouraged to collect them by the offering of prizes for a given number.
