WON BY H.M.S. DIOMEDE Ships of the Royal Navy on the New Zealand station have added yet another trophy to their already fine collection, in the shape of a silver salver presented by Messrs. Walker and Hall for annual competition in swimming relay races. The salver, which is a 16in. Chippendale design, has been won for the first time by a team from H.M.S. Diomede. The races will be held each year under the auspices of the Ponsonby Swimming Club.
