A WEDDING AT GISBORNE
KNOX—WILDISH Emily May, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Wildish, of Gisborne, became the bride last week of Edward, only son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Knox, of Gisborne. The marriage was performed by the Rev. Father Kelly, in the Catholic Church at Gisborne. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dainty gown of mauve crepe de chine, prettily draped, and a hat to match; her bouquet was in harmonising tones. Miss Cissie Mahoney attended as bridesmaid, wearing a frock of eau de nil georgette and a pretty hat, and carrying an attractive bouquet. Mr. Frank Wildish, brother of the bride, acted as best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, when the hostess wore a handsome gown of black charmeuse and a black hat, and carried a bouquet of pink and mauve tinted flnwers. When Mr. and Mrs. Knox left later for a wedding tour, the bride wore a smart ensemble ■ suit of bois de rose and a hat to tone. A QUIET WEDDING ANDREWS— HI BBERT At Holy Trinity Church, Devonport, the Rev. Mr. Wingfield recently married Miss Ethel Hibbert, of Mansfield, Notts, England, to Mr. N. F. Andrews, of Raglan. The bride, who was given away by Mrs. 33. W. McLean, wore a prettily - fashioned gown of pastel tinted blue crepe de chine, and a hat of harmonis- : ing tones. A reception was held after the ceremony at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. McLean, when a number of intimate friends of the bride and bridegroom | were received.
