Butter Prices.—The Auckland Butter Marketing Committee has decided to reduce the price of butter to Is 6d a lb. from Monday. U nemployment.—Unemployed registrations in the City this week show an increase of 32 over the previous week. Sympathy for Dairy Board.—A motion of sympathy with the Dairy Control Board and confidence in it was carried at a meeting to-day of the Heretaunga, Waipukurau, Wairoa, Waiohiki and Hawke’s Bay dairy companies. Dr. Reakes for. England.—Dr. C. J. Reakes, Director of Agriculture, will represent the New Zealand Government at the Imperial Agricultural Research Conference in London in October. He will leave New Zealand about the middle of August. M issing Plans.—Lieut.-Commander Mayers was charged at Bow Street Court with being in possession of submarine plans.
