MOTORISTS PROTEST
SOUTH ROAD TOLL CHARGES The roads committee of the Auckland Automobile Association met thir morning and fully discussed the matter of the imposition of a toll charge on motorists using - the road deviation through private property south of Manurevva. The committee decided to telegraph the Prime Minister, the Minister for Public Works, and the chairman of the Main Highways' Board protesting against the toll, also to procure a legal opinion on its validity.
