PRICES EASING
SALES REPORT By Cable.—Press Association. — CopyriO^ Received 10.15 a.m. LONDON, Thursday. After several days’ activity the butter trade quietened to-day and prices eased slightly. New Zealand choicest salted brought the following prices: Salted, 150 s to 1545; unsalted, 15&s to 1625. Australian prices were:—Salted, 150 s to 1525; unsalted, 156 s to 160 s. Danish butter sold at from 176 s to 178 s. New Zealand cheese was firmer, bringing 80s. —Sun. Dalgety and Co. have received the following cable from their London manager:— New Zealand butter, 152 s to 1545; >.cw Zealand cheese, 78s to 80s; Danish butter, 17Ss; Australian best unsalted 15*® to 160 s; Australian finest salted 152 s to 1545. New Zealand butter has been *“ good demand at an advanced price, buthe market is now quiet. The mar*** for Australian butter is steady owing small supply. Demand for cheese steaay but quiet. Canadian spot cheese, wmj-U 90s to 945; Canadian spot, coloured, * Lo 945.
