APPRECIATIVE MESSAGES GIFTS TO MINISTER Press Association. WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. R. F. Bollard, who was responsible for the initial arrangements of the Royal tour, has received a message from the Duke of York which states that both the Duke and the Duchess are deeply grateful for all the Minister’s care and trouble. Their Royal Highnesses thank Mr. Bollard and the department for all that was done for their comfort and enjoyment during their tour. The Duke also asked that" an expression of sincere thanks be conveyed to those who generously lent articles for the use of the Royal party. He presented Mr. Bollard with a silver cigarette box and Mrs. Bollard with a photograph of the Duchess and himself.
