TWO CARS TAKEN
ACTIVITY OF JOYRIDERS The übiquitous joyrider was active among the motor-cars in Auckland again last evening. Two cars were taken, but they were recovered this morning by the police. No damage had been done except that they had been taken on fairly 16ng runs. A Chandler car. belonging to Mr. Albert Sandford, of IS Summers Street, Ponsonbv, which had been removed from the street in which it was parked, was recovered by the Ponsonby police this morning. The other car, a Buick. the property of Mr. William Miller, manager of the Woollen Mills at Onehunga, was taken from the Civic Square between 8 o’clock and 10 o’clock last evening. It was found in the Domain this morning, none the worse for its journey.
