MARKET VERY QUIET TARANAKI OILS SELLING Taranaki Oils and mining shares were all that caused even a limited amount of interest on the Auckland Stock Exchange at this morning’s calls. The market is quieter than it has been for weeks and, unless anything unexpected crops up, should remain so till after the end of the month. Taranaki Oils are in constant demand and quotations fluctuate between 10s and 11s, with several small parcels changing hands. Sales Registered At the 3.15 call yesterday afternoon: Kauri Timber, £ 1 Os; Taranaki Oils, 10s 6d and 10s 3d; Mount Lyell, £ 1 8s lOd and £1 8s 9d. At the noon call to-day: Taranaki Oils, 10s 6d; Lucky Shot (pd.), 2s 8d; Kawarau, 3s 4d. No sales were made or reported at the 10 o’clock call.
