IMPRESSIVE FUNERAL

LATE LEN JOHNSON WELLINGTON, To-day. The funeral of the late Len Johnson was largely attended. There were heads of the Government departments, private secretaries, messengers, two Cabinet Ministers, the Hon. R. F. Bollard and the Hon. O. Hawken, Miss Downie Stewart, and members of the Parliamentary Press Gallery. Floral tributes came from the Speaker and Lady Statham. Ministers and secretaries, pressmen and others, and members of the Masonic Lodge. There was a religious cremation service, and sprigs of greenery signifying remembrance and belief in immortality were placed on the hv the Masons.
