THE SALVATION ARMY
OPENING OF NEW HALL The opening of the Salvation Army Hall, recently built at Edendale, will take place on Saturday afternoon. The opening ceremony will be performed by Colonel C. Knott, secretary of the Salvation Army in New Zealand. The building will accommodate up to 150 persons, and is in a growing suburb. Its erection reflects to the growing activities of the Army in the country and suburbs. It will serve as a Sunday school when a larger hall for church services is ultimately built. For the past three months services have been held in a tent on the site.
