UNIVERSITY CLUB
A SUCCESSFUL YEAR There was an attendance of over 70 members' at the annual meeting of the Auckland University College Rugby Football Club held last evening. Mr. A. A. Gray presided. The annual report stated that last year had been the most successful in the history of the club. The membership had reached the record figure of N 102 . For the first time since its inception the club hud fielded six teams each Saturday, one being in the senior St'ade, three in the second, and two in the third. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £9 10s. The following officers were elected: President, Professor R. M. Algie; club captain, Mr. M. It. O’Shea; secretary, JJ r - G. L. O’Halloran; treasurer. Mr. k- W. Buttle; delegates to Auckland Rugby Union. Messrs W. A. Gray, A. A. Lucas and G. Harding; delegate to Junior advisory board. Mr. A. Craig; senior selector. Mr. A. A. Lucas: junior sector, Mr. M. R. O’Shea; committee, Messrs L. Brooker, C. T. Keegan, A. *• Miller, F. W. Olsen, N. C. Jenkin and F\ Thompson: club coach, Mr. A. A. Rucas; hon. auditor. Mr. A. Irving.
