Tnw.V IMPROVEMENTS.-—We are glad to observe that the .Municipal .Hoard has been quite vigorous during the past fortnight in having the roads formed and otherwise put in repair. Considerable improvements have been effected in Matnfele in culling sharp corners off fences, and, in some intances having the fences shifted back so as to give an increased roadway. Thai portion of the road between the International Hotel and Savalalo is still, however, an eyesore on account of its extreme narrowness, anil we hop, the proprietors of ilin sections on the portion of the road indicated will presently see the benefits which would accrue to their own properties, and to the town generally, by having the road widened at this spot, and will yield to the wishes of the Hoard in this matter.
