Samoa Times Office. Friday Evening. Retail business sineo our lust report, consequent on tho influx of natives into town to attend the meeting held at Mulinuu on "Wednesday, has beon a little brisker, but the unsettled state of the weather during the past week having put a stop to copra making, business all round may he said to bo decidedly dull. As wo go to press, however, the weather seems to be clearing up, and as the political out-look is brighter since Wednesday's meeting we anticipate: that trade will shortly revive. By late files we observe that all classes .'f fronds in the Home markets have experionced a large advance in price. Traders hero may therefore expect during the next three or four mouths to pay considerably enhanced rates conipured with thoso at which goods havo been obtainable in the course of tho last two years.
