Agnes Kdgell, schooner, from Solomon Islands, early. Mathilde, three-masted schooner, from Line Islands, early. Rod Coat, three-masted schooner, from Liverpool, early. Elizabeth, schooner, from Fiji, hourly. Sirocco, schooner, from Sydney, onrly. On Sunday morning last, the schooner Fogoloa entered our harbour. The schooner. Fakaofo, after a smart run to Matautu, Savaii, returned to this port on Tuesday. The three-masted schooner Agnes Edgell, which left this port for a cruise in tho Solomon Islands in December last, is now considerably overdue, ami fears are entertained in town as to her safety. The schooner Fogoloa left harbour ou Thursday morning for Tutuihi. The French Government at Tahiti have entered into a contract for a monthly lino of steamers to run from Papeite to San Francisco; tho contract is to last for five .years, and will oommonce on Ist November next. The Government will pay a subsidy •of 250,000fr. The steamers employed will be of 500 tofts, and will make the passage in eighteen days.—Fiji Times. Ou Thursday the schooner Fakaofo left port for a trip round Savaii.
