Fine paid. Furious Ridikg.—On Saturday last, lief ore the Neutral Territory Court, two Europeans were fined s.') each for furiously riding along the public road at Matautu. Rowdy Conduct.—On Tuesday night last au affray took place between one or more shore people and a number of sailors, but as we understand that tho matter will be brought before the proper authorities to be dealt with to-day, we refrain from making any comments in his issue.
The Weather.—During the first fewdays of the past week the weather was extremely unsettled. On Monday night ono of the heaviest thunder storms experienced here for some years took place accompanied by a perfect deluge of rain. There was considerable thunder on the following day, which appears to have the effect of clearing the atmosphere, for we nro at present enjoying most delightful weather.
