J Following the custom of the foreigners here at tin- Christmas time of the year, I freely participated in the guyitios of this festive season, — the main result being a severe headache, general lassitude and a strong disinclination to work. So I throw myself on the tender mercies of my fellow-sufferers, and while apologising for being backward in tin- performance of my duty, und promising to make amends next week, I wish you all a happy and a prosperous New Voar. — and many on 'cm ! Cvm.
