Kerr-'Hlislop, formerly ot Inglewood, now of Fnxton, has been appointed medical superintendent oi the Wanganui Hospital. Mr T. Hustwick, formerly Government Analytical Chemist, passed away at Wellington on Saturday, after a protracted illness. In his 80th year. A well-known figure in Wellington shipping circles, Captain Jones, *oi many years skipper of the Duchess and other harbor ferry steamers, died in the hospital, where he , had been lying for some time, suffering Irom i a paralytic seizure,
