WHISKY AND CIGARS.
THEFT FROM EMPIRE HOTEL. LOCAL LAD'S RE-APPEAKANCE. Milton William Barlow (the youth who figured prominently in local Court proceedings a lew months ago) was arrested yesterday on a charge of breaking and entering the premises of the Empire Hotel and stealing whisky and cigars. Accused appeared before Mr C. I). Sole, J.P., this morning, and upon the application of the police was remanded to Friday, January sth. Bail was allowed in two sureties, self and another of £IOO each.
