Bancroft, for Wales, kicked a splendid goal, Morris equalising with a try. and O'Brien shot a fine penalty goal, which gave New Zealand the lead. The game was strenuous in the second half, when Bancroft was injured. Walters scored a try and equalised the points. It was a hard finish.
