TROTTING RACE RECORD. Christchurch, December 19. Admiral Wood was responsible tor an exceptional performance in the Now Brighton Handicap, when be finished second to Arthur Dillon. Ills time for the two miles was 4.23 3-5, which is easily a race record for Australasia, the previous best being 4.2 b 2.5, established by Don Caesar. at Forbnry Park last January.
