FOLEY'S PICTURES. i n !"• DAVID HARUM. * Last night "David Harum," ;the favourite rural life story, by Edward Westcott, was screened to a large audience at His Majesty's Theatre. The characters in the story are excellently played, and the production on ;.the whole is enjoyable and wholesorfiel.V entertaining. Tiie story is one that is very popular with every story 'enthusiast. Mr William H. Crewe; 5 a now motion picture star, plays jthe character of "Old David Harum," country banker, horse trader, and philosopher, outwardly . a grouchy miser, full of oddities-and gruff but in reality a philanthropist, whose heart is big', sound and sweet. The. picture is the work of the Famous Players' studios. The supporting subjects consist of "The Pathe gazette," an interesting war topical, "The Battlefield of Neuve Chappellf," war scenes. "River life near Parifs," ;! coloured scenic of France, and "Cartoons in a Sanatorium" —a clever Edison comedy.
