THE HU A BASE. Per Press Association. Hotorna, December 6. A Maori named Wi Hape, who was arrested on a charge ol secreting Mabia Hakeke, a witness in the Him cases, and getting him away from Auckland to defeat the ends ol justice, was brought- before Mr Dyer, S.M., and remanded till Thursday morning. Tabu Hirawane' and Tutara Kauika were committed for trial at Hamilton for perjury at the Rua eases in the Auckland Supreme Court.
