ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
A GRUESOME FIND. Per Press Association. Auckland, November 00. The headless, decomposed body of a man was lonnd - at Mercer this morning. He had, apparently, committed suicide by placing a plug ol gelignite in his mouth and firing it with a fuse. His identity has not been established. A railway ticket which was found on the body bore the date of 21th October.
