Britain, says England's defence is extraordinarily strong. It admits that one airship was brought down by hostile aircraft near Scarborough and that a second - not' having returned must be considered lost.

In the House of Commons, Mr Gilbert asked whether the raider on London was disguised as a British aeio- . plane, .or a war aeroplane captured from the British, but Mr H. -W. Forster (Financial Secretary to the War Office) declined to answer.
