The Britannic, of 47,500 tons, was sunk in the Aegean ssa. Eleven hundred were saved. The High Commissioner reports: — London, November 22 (4.15 p.m.) The Admiralty reports: The British hospital ship “Britannic” was sunk by a mine nr a torpedo yesterday in the Aegean Sea. The Chronicle's Athens correspondent states that the Britannic was submarined off the Island of Zea. The survivors, including one nurse, lauded at Phaloron.
