The Freedom of Edinburgh w-as conferred on Mr Massey. A public meeting at Hanley passed a resolution of indignation at their representative, Mr Outhwaite’s lack of patriotism, and calling on him to resign; and also, asking the Mayor oo call a meeting to request Mr Asquith in legislate and remove Outhwaite from Ids constituency, whose views ho no longer represents.
