General Hindenburg, in a letter to Chancellor von Bethmann Hollweg, complains that the workmen in the factories have insufficient food. Many of the authorities do not realise we are fighting for our very existence. It is impossible for the workers to remain fit for their duties if they are insufficiently nourished."
