FOLEY’S PICTURES. “the lily and THE ROSE.” LAST SCREENING TO-NIGHT. ihoi'Q was a good house to see tin first screening of the wonderful “Triangle” film “The Lily aiid the Rose” at His Majesty’s last night. The story traces the life of “The Lily,” an artless girl living with her aunts in a beautiful southern home. She is married to a society man, but her very artlessness dulls his affections, which ho'transfers to “The Rose.” a beautiful dancer. The ways of the husband and wife part, but the former finds “The Rose” shallow and fickle, and in Ids misery he* shoots himself. His wife, who lias now become a mother, returns to her -old home, and finds consolation in the regard of a young author, who has dedicated his work to her. The whole, picture is well produced, and the dance of “The Spirit of Intense” by “The Rose” is an artistic performance. Th is Triangle feature is supported by a good programme, which will be presented for the last time to- | night.
