THE LATE BOELCKE GERMANY’S GREATEST AIRMAN. ALLIED AIRMEN’S TRIBUTE. Press Association— Copyright. Reuter’s Telegrams. (Received 12.40 p.m.) Amsterdam, November 11. A German communique states: Enemy airmen dropped a wreath behind our lines addressed to the officers of the Flying Corps together with a letter saying:—“ln memory of Roelcke, a brave and chivalrous enemy,” and adding; “We regret the lateness of the tribute, which was due to the weather. We mourn with his relatives and friends.” The wreath and letter has been sent to Roelcke s parents.
