(Received 12.2 d p.m.) London, November 14. | A despatch from General Lake says: ’ Since the fall of Kut, no large opera- | tions have been undertaken, the troops resting and recuperating, consolidating the positions. While the abatement of tho floods dried the ground, it increased the water difficulties. Tho Turks still hold the Sanalyat* position, and have constructed other lines on the left bank. Wo dominate! Hai and could bombard Kut.
