Evidence of tremendous RussianGerman fighting being imminent is discussed. Great German activity is noticeable south of Dvinsk.

It is reported that the Crown Prince has been appointed to tho command of a group of armies on the north-east front. The report is exciting comment. Tho Russians have taken over seventy-eight miles of the Roumanian front, south of Dorna Wafra. Russian efforts may be directed against Guenziane, in the hope of separating the left flank from the centre.

A communique announces that Russian cavalry and infantry two miles west of Cernavado in Dohrudja are fighting for the famous bridges.
