Tin- weather was showery for the second day of the Racing Club’s Spring Meeting. There was a fair attendance. The course was satisfactory. The sum of £30,153 passed through the “tote.” compared with £31,916 for the edrrsponding day of last year. The total returns for the meeting show an increase of £0157' over the receipts of the meeting of last year, lu the Steeplechase Mollyhawk fell on the fiat breaking a leg. An inquiry was held into an accident in the Gordon Handicap, but the incident was deemed accidental. Additional results:—
Epsom Handicap.—l Bisogne (Goldfinch) 1, 10 Bedford 2, 1 Glenroy 3. Also started: IT Hoplield, 8 Tatterley, 4 Astor, 3 Hyllus, 9 Kitty Holla irs, 6 Waiuta, 5 Tact, 7 Goldfire. Won easily by two lengths and a half, three lengths between the next. Time, 1.16 2-5. Musket Stakes —1 Rathlin (Ryana) 1, 9 Malaga 2, 1 Penthesilea 3. Won by a length. Time, 51 1-5. Normanby Handicap.—6 AH' J)elaval (Manson) 1, 1 Brown Lock 2, 16 Paddington Green 8. Won very easily by three lengths. Time, 1.32. Welter Handicap.—9 Lady Glen fit. E. Brown) 1, 5 Sonltanc 2, 11 Sir Ralph 8. Won all the way by two lengths. Time, 1.25.

The decrease in the totalisator receipts at the Trots yesterday was £2BIB. not £10,845, as telegraphed last night. The mistake arose owing to the confusion resulting from the lire.
