By Prince Imperial—Rose; full brother to Prince Randal, 2.21; Advocate j 2.20; and Clotah, 2.19. Advance is a beautiful black, of great conformation, and stands 16.2. Has stock have won fame in the South whether on the race track, in the show ring, or on farm work. Advance only raced until 2J years old, and gained a record for the National Clip (Christchurch), two miles, in 4min. 46sec., which is evidence of his great pace, beating amongst others Albertorious and Black Child. Out of nine starts, he secured four firsts, two seconds, and three unplaced. Advance has sired a number of good performers, including Hedvic, who went a mile and three furlongs in 3.15 and 3.40. Promotion, a winner over a mile in 2.18. General Advance, Drum Major, Rearguard, Tarah, etc., all good winners. TERMS—£6 63. Two or more mares as per arrangement.
