AMUSEMENTS.

FOLEY'S PICTUREB. "FROM OUT THE BIG SNOWS.", i The new programme screened last night at His Majesty's Theatre quite upheld the high standard of the popular picture house. The main attraction is a Vitagrnph melodrama in three parts entitled "From out the big snows," and throughout its entire screening the audience seem to breathe the atmosphere of North West Canada. The snow scenes, the sledges, drawn by the Canadian dogs in teams of ten and twelve over al-j most impossible tracks, the crude and primitive dwellings, combined with a powerful plot, constitute a picture! which is both novel and entertaining. General Mahon's defences in Salonika. serve to show the almost impregnable barrier protecting this town. "The Village Scandal" featuring Fatty Arbuckle, is an excellent Keystone, comedy. "The Heart of a Sheriff"! (drama), "Copper Industry in Spain" (interest), and "With the British in Flanders" complete a really good programme.
