PALMERSTON SHOW.

Entries have finally closed for this event, and they come well up to expectations, being about the same as last year's. In view of the scarcity of labour, caused through the great numbers who have enlisted, tins is rather remarkable, and indicates to those who are familiar with the situation the great sacrifice on the part of the exhibitors., to keep the show going. Preparations are almost complete, and exhibits are already arriving. Should the weather bo favourable next wqek, another highly successful show is anticipated.
