_ ._—-<Sif>* • • SHOCK3NC RAILWAY FATALITY. Per Press Association. Christchurch, October 25. James Daniels, mirier, aged 40, a resident of Kaitangata, but who haa been living at Lyttelton for the past few weeks, was hit by a truck of timber at a railway crossing this morning. His head got under the wheels, and he was shockingly mangled, being killed instantly.
