NOBEL'S BALLISTITE CUP. In view of the new competitions for the Ballistite Cup on Thursday, November 9, members of the Club will be interested in the conditions attached to the trophy. It is a coincidence that nominations for a fresh competition should close on Thursday next, as it is six years on November 1 sinco the Cup conditions were drawn tip. They are as follows: I—Four handicap (sealed); competitions to be held in each year, best three to count, twelve (12) birds to be shot at under usual conditions. 2—The Cup to become the property of any member winning it three times at intervals, but to remain in the Club's possession until so won, though considered held by the member winning it in any one year, such member to have his name inscribed on the Cup or pedestal, and to receive a goid modal from the Club. 3—That the score limit be 42 points. -I—That handicaps be sealed. s—No member be permitted to take part in any competition unless financial. 6—That a star on the first bird in any or each competition be allowed on payment of Is. 7—That the entrance foe for the four (•I) competitions be Is.
