SUPREME COURT.
CARGO BROACHERS. Per Press Association. Wellington, October 16. At the Supreme Court, three men, Fritz Rierseu, Albert W. Westrup, and John Carlson, appeared lor sentence on charges of cargo broaching. The Chief Justice, having regard to the men's youth and prompt admission of guilt when taxed by tiie police, granted probation for six months, each accused being ordered to pay L'l towards the cost of the prosecution.
