FOLEY'S PICTURES. "THE POWER OF THRIFT." Seldom has ;t picture succeeded in pleasing from every point of view as the feature film screened last night at His -Majesty's Theatre, entitled "The Power of Thrift." The acting, production, and settings are carried out on a lavish scale, especially the scene in'which a workman is carried through the air over skyscrapers upon a gigantic crane. The interior working of a modern American Savings Hank lends added interest to the film. The pioneer of film comedy, the late Mr John Bunny, appears in a two-part comedy entitled "Father's Flirtation" ; he is ably assisted by .Miss FJpva Kineh, and the result's are screamingly funny. The supporting pictures are "War Gazette," "The Stolen RuHy," and a picture depicting beautiful Britain in the grip of winter, which is apparently taken from the front of a motor ear, the effect being exilarating in the extreme,
