An unconfirmed report states that another British steamer, the Strathcarn was also attacked. j A wireless states that the U 53 held up the American steamer Kansas from New York, when bound tor Boston, examined her papers,, and allowed her to proceed to Kansas. Later she received a wireless call from the West Point.
