NEW SOUTH WALES FLOODS. Press Association— Copyright, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. Sydney, October 5. A total of thirteen inches of rain is recorded for the past ten days. Floods in the Manly district have caused considerable damage to property. Many families have had to leave their homes. The Randwiek racecourse has been inundated and the tracks damaged. The blood stock sales were postponed until to-morrow, and the Eight Hour demonstration sports have been P'J* 'off indefinitely. I Country reports state that there have been heavy losses of stock. Several washaways and landslips occurred, on the southern line, blocking tie traffic iT MILES OF COUNTRY INUNDATED. I EXTENSIVE DAMACE DONE. (Received 10.25. a.m.) Sydney, October 5. The Nowra river was flooded, ;.m----dating miles of country. The Macquary is also at* full flood. All railway traffic' west of Bat bum has been suspended. Extensive damage to crops and property has been done.
