Official.—With regard to man-power the Board heard evidence on behalf of the Admiralty and Army Council. Ministry of Munitions, which proven that fresh supplies of men for the armies and munition factories are urgently needed. It urges tribunals n it to extend the period of exemptions whereof ther© are Tour hundred thousand cases, but to expedite the bearing of applications for exemption, whereof there are two hundred thousand. Regarding the dilution of labour room sts, the Board of Trade and Mr Henderson will confer with employers and trade union loaders, and extend dilution, thus freeing skilled men engaged in,private, work for munition making. Much labor now on private uorlc, must be diverted to Government production, or released for the Army.
