A German communique reports: There have been artillery and grenade engagements on the Somme and the Meuse.

Near Korytrica, the Russians still occupy small portions of our position. Vigorous artillery work is reported ; between the Sereth and the Strypa. We again lost the summit at Smotroo. Russian attacks were unsuccessful at Baba and Ludowa. Strong Roumanian attacks were made south-west of Topraisar. Germans, Bulgars, and Turks, in an encircling counter-attack, are forcing them hack in disorder.
